EUROPE DAY IN ESTONIA

On 9 May 2022, we will once again celebrate Europe Day in Estonia.

As in the previous two years, the events will take place in six cities across Estonia: Tallinn, Tartu, Narva, Võru, Pärnu, Kuressaare. In addition, Europe Day events and activities will take place in Põlva, Jõhvi, Hiiumaa and Haapsalu, under the leadership of the local Europe Direct Centres.

2022 has been declared the European Year of Youth, which is why the Europe Day events are mainly targeted to Estonian schoolchildren and students.

Europe Day events and activities in cities can be divided into two parts. Schoolchildren are welcome to take part in the Rakett69 competition. All citizens are invited to participate in an exciting orienteering game in their home town.

Europe Day events will take place on May 9 from 2 pm to 5 pm in the central squares of Tallinn, Tartu, Narva, Võru and Pärnu. Kuressaare will start celebrating already on May 8 at noon, because on the same day the city celebrates its anniversary.
