The EU High level Public Debates in frame of project “Towards Inclusive and Sustainable Europe” are taking place in Brussels, Belgium, between 13th and 16th March! Already next week the international meeting, which gather experts, NGO’s, politicians, and high-level representatives, minorities and vulnerable groups, is taking place in Brussels. The main topic of discussion is “Civil Society contributions to the EU Integration and migration policies”. The delegates will discuss the processes of inclusion of vulnerable groups and minorities into European society and the role, that civil society could play in those matters. During the public debate, participants will be able to hear keynote speeches from many experts from different countries, for instance Saara Pellander (Director of Migration Institute of Finland) and Ph.D Eleftheria Ftaklaki (Political scientist, Researcher at the Aegean university).
The event consists of several panel discussions and working groups, grasping the following topics related to democracy and participation: naturalization and adaptation; intercultural dialogue; education; labour market and professional success; setting into society and social cohesion.
The result of the debates will be reflected in the final document European Report To-wards Inclusive and Sustainable Europe. Registration is open till 7th March 2022.
